Welcome to NCRD's Sterling Institute of Pharmacy

NCRD's Sterling Institute of Pharmacy is located in Nerul which is the biggest residential node of Navi Mumbai. It is situated in a serene and peaceful enviornment and is easily accesssible by rail from the Seawoods station on the harbour line between CST- Panvel and by road from the National Highway-4 or the Palm Beach road.

The National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) is a registered Public Charitable Trust, founded in 1991 with the mission of Rural Development. During the course of its various activities aimed at the rural youth, NCRD realized early on, that true rural development is not possible without basic education for the rural folk, and hence NCRD entered the field of education about a decade ago.

The Indian pharmaceutical industry is driving product development and breaking new grounds in medicine research worldwide. Currently, the Indian pharmaceutical industry is one of the world's largest and most developed, ranking 4th in volume terms and 13th in value terms.

This new decade is, thus, bound to have an ever growing demand of pharmacy professionals not only in the country, but even worldwide. Anticipating this demand the NCRD Trust put the wheels in motion that brought about the existence of Sterling Institute of Pharmacy.

Testimonials

Dr. Asmita Nimkar,
Head - Regulatory Affairs,
Serdia Pharmaceuticals Ltd.,
Mumbai.

I have visited NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Pharmacy a couple of times for seminars, rallies, blood donation camps and other social activities. I appreciate the way they take responsibility to conduct these social programs. It has very good premises, good infrastructure, well equipped labs along with a library with vast referral material. It provides a very conducive environment for student’s growth and encouragement. I wish them all success.
